PROJECT OVERVIEW

SanSai approached us with a desire to step up their game and establish a brand that would pull them away from the pack. They were tired of being thought of as “Just another Japanese casual restaurant”. They had a winning menu and great staff, they were just falling short on image and their dining experience.

We helped them to re-define their positioning and developed a strategy to implement new image components – some basic changes that would help create a whole new dining experience. They wanted to take their business in a new direction, and it was our job to get them headed in the right direction.

With that in mind, we developed an all-new visual system and built an entire brand identity complimented the newly defined business approach. We incorporated fun conversational copy and quirky peripherals to reach people on a memorable and emotional level and captivate them.

With our help, SanSai has risen above the ranks of the standard Japanese Casual restaurant, and has become an iconic dining destination where fun and food come together to create a memorable experience. Instead of being a stereotype, SanSai is simply put – a great restaurant, full of atmosphere, class, and wit. Oh, and they serve amazing food that just happens to be Japanese.
